Candy and Pumpkins and Ghosts …

Oh my!

October is almost upon us, friends. Are you ready? Before we know it, those all-too-cute princesses and ghouls will be haunting our homes for treats!

I’ve been looking for some smaller projects to make, since my home is decidedly lacking in Halloween flair. My first plan of attack was to join the Monthly Mini’s Club in September. I’m looking forward to practicing my applique skills on the bats and the pumpkins in October’s project.Monthly Mini's October Project

Watch out for little fingers getting into the candy basket too soon, or your trick or treaters might end up green like the franken-guy on the Too Much Candy pillow (A15087).  Maybe you can appease the sweet tooth for a short while by working on a candy corn project. We have candy corn candle mats, candy corn cross stitch, and candy corn knit hats. Oh my!

We have friendly witches (A15086), pumpkin spice (A17738), and who can resist a great pair of boots (A15094)?

For the more ambitious among us, there are larger quilt projects, including Trifecta (A17260), The Crow Quilt (A16830) and the very impressive, Calendula Patterdrip’s Cottage (A12864), above. We even have the perfect Halloween fabrics to complete every creepy crawly project.

Oh, wow! So many choices! Hopefully you (and I) can find something among the many choices at Erica’s to costume our homes appropriately this season. As always, please let us know what you choose to make and send pictures! We love to see what you’re making, no matter the season!
